BORN AND RAISED IN THE HEARTLAND, THOMAS C. CARD SPENT MOST OF HIS FORMATIVE YEARS EXPLORING DIFFERENT ARTISTIC OUTLETS RANGING FROM SCULPTURE AND GLASS BLOWING TO PAINTING AND PHOTOGRAPHY.  AS A SOPHOMORE IN HIGH SCHOOL THOMAS WAS ASKED TO JOIN A CREATIVE TEAM AT A LOCAL IN-HOUSE AD AGENCY WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY APPRENTICING AS A JEWELRY DESIGNER.  THOMAS ATTENDED WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS WHERE HE RECEIVED A BFA WITH AN EMPHASIS IN PHOTOGRAPHY AND A MINOR IN ART HISTORY.

INTERVIEW MAGAZINE GAVE THOMAS HIS FIRST BREAK, LAUNCHING HIS CAREER AT AGE TWENTY-THREE WITH HIS FIRST DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD.  THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER, THOMAS HAS ALSO CONTRIBUTED TO NUMEROUS INTERNATIONAL PUBLICATIONS SUCH AS VOGUE, HARPER'S BAZAAR, GLAMOUR, FLAUNT, THE NEW YORK TIMES MAGAZINE, AND THE LONDON SUNDAY TIMES MAGAZINE. AS A BEAUTY AND STILL LIFE PHOTOGRAPHER THOMAS'S ADVERTISING CLIENTS INCLUDE APPLE, L'ORÉAL, COLE HAAN, VERSACE, FERRAGAMO, BARNEYS, BAUME & MERCIER, AND PEPSI, AMONG OTHERS
